METALTRAP Dual-Cartridge
Filter Systems, 3-Sizes and 2-Models
refillable cartridge (2) holder system, for spas, swim-spas, smaller and larger pools
Ideal for use with or without an auto-filler or auto-leveler.
If your water source contains dissolved metals, as well as suspended sediments, the METALTRAP Dual-Cartridge Filter would be a better choice. It features a washable, reusable 5-micron sediment filter and replaceable MetalTrap Filter cartridges, for greater economy. The first, washable, reusable, 5-micron filter cartridge removes sediments, which might, otherwise, clog the second MetalTrap cartridge, intended to remove dissolved heavy metals. The MetalTrap Dual-Cartridge Filter is a real must-have product, when an auto-filler is being used.
- The METALTRAP Dual-Cartridge Filter actually removes dissolved heavy metals, as well as fine sediments, from the water, before it is added, to the pool or spa.
- This is almost a necessity with well water or poor quality source water.
- Removes sediments, iron, copper, silver and manganese, before they get into the pool or spa.
- 3 sizes for Spas and Swim-Spas or Smaller and Larger Pools.
- Available in 2 variations. One models utilizes 0.75-inch garden hose. The other use 1-inch PVC piping.
- The sediment filter is washable and reusable and lasts for extended periods of time, with proper care.
- The MetalTrap Filter can remove up to 1 PPM of heavy metals, from 28,000 gallons of water. Once exhausted, the cartridge needs to be replaced.
- Removes up to 1 PPM of heavy metals, based on its rated gallon capacity.
- Replacement cartridges are available, for all models.
- Helps avoid recurring staining and discoloration problems, in pools and spas.
If your source water contains sediments, the MetalTrap Dual-Cartridge Filter is the preferred way to treat the problem, as it includes a washable, reusable 5-micron sediment filter. Higher metals levels will require larger or additional METALTRAP Filters. With 1 PPM or less of total metals, recirculate at 8-10 gallons a minute. With 1-2 PPM of total metals, recirculate at 4-5 gallons a minute. Proportionally adjust for higher metals levels, both in terms of flow rate and METALTRAP gallonage rating.
