Aquatic Access
manufactures a variety of water-powered lifts to provide access to
pools, spas, boats, and docks for individuals who have difficulty with
stairs and ladders. The extensive Aquatic Access product line includes
several models that meet or exceed all of the existing and proposed ADA
and ABA guidelines for public pools and spas, as well as a number of
highly adaptable lifts for private pools. All Aquatic Access lifts can
be customized for unusual pool situations. A variety of accessories and
options are available as well. Relying on the environmentally friendly
and renewable power of water, Aquatic Access lifts are the green choice
to provide access to water activities for everyone. Never a
worry about a battery going dead at the wrong time!
It is this
ability to create lifts for unique situations that has made Aquatic
Access an integral part of several projects for the popular, Emmy
Award-winning program Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in 2004, 2006 and
2007.
Aquatic
Access offers a full line of water-powered lifts for in-ground pools and
spas, above-ground pools and spas, portable spas, swim spas, and for
most whirlpool, therapy, or rehabilitation tubs and pools, including
those with six-foot walls. We also build lifts for boats, docks, and
lifts in use on many cruise ships to provide access to pools and spas.
Among the innovative Aquatic Access lifts is the Model IGAT-180AD --a
user-operable lift for in-ground pools which is entirely above the deck
to accommodate pools with covers, an automatic lift, Model IGAT 180/135
-- for spas and pools with built-in seats, heavy-duty versions of most
lift models, and a special two-piece seat that can be adapted for
individuals who require a wider seat for comfort.
All of the
IGAT-180 models meet or exceed the pending ADA, ADA and CBC guidelines
for public swimming pool access. All of these lifts work with water
pressure, and there is no electricity, expensive batteries, or
complicated machinery involved. The renewable, earth-friendly power of
water is readily available in homes and commercial properties around the
world.
These products are simple enough to install, for
anyone with reasonable mechanical skill. Usually just a matter of
installing some anchor bolts.
